We rely on airlines and other third parties for the information published on our website and hence cannot stand guarantee for any erroneous information. Currency rate variations for international currencies are applicable whenever necessary and the rates prevailing on the date of confirmation after payment will be final. We cannot be held financially liable for such fluctuations. All domestic and international flight ticket fares are displayed and calculated in USD, and the conversion rates are applicable for users booking from countries other than the Unites States and Canada. Several attributes are contributors to the deals and offers published on our website which may include and cannot restricted to the day of the journey, destination city and business or economy class.
International and domestic flight fares are not inclusive of baggage fees, with a few exceptions where it will be explicitly mentioned. In the order of increasing cost stand the Economy class, Business class and First class air tickets. The different classes present in a particular flight depends on the airline, for which information we request the users to directly contact the airline operator. We cannot be held responsible for any wrong choices made by the user.Prior to confirmation, the ticket fare may see some variations and in such cases, it is our responsibility to intimate our customers regarding the changes before proceeding to payment.
The user will receive an auto-generated message immediately after the confirmation of their reservation. However, your seat is confirmed only after a valid ticket purchase is made through our website after which you will receive an e-mail of the ticket. The rate changes after reservation and before ticket purchase will have to be borne by the customer and it will not be the financial liability of the website. When there is an increase in fare post reservation, the user has all rights to cancel the booking provided he/she has not already made a payment for it. Due to unforeseen weather conditions and other reasons the flight’s schedule may change and it is the responsibility of the customer to make note of such changes by visiting the respective airline’s website or calling their customer care directly.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
A confirmed ticket that has been paid for will not be entertained for a refund or a transfer unless expressly stated. If the user wishes to make a cancellation of a confirmed ticket within 24 hours of its original purchase, then they may contact Fetchcheapflights website directly on the following number(). Bookings more than 24 hours old cannot be cancelled through our website. There are certain charges applicable during the cancellation process. The cancellation charges levied by the airline and the processing charge levied by the website. However, we will refund the processing fee if the airline does not entertain your case. Some examples being denied boarding, a “no show” or delayed boarding. The service fee collected during the initial ticket booking is non-refundable.
Change of details such as name and date of travel is not possible with an air ticket. Tickets witherroneous details will have to be cancelled in the first place and rebooked with the correct information in place. While rebooking, the confirmation is subject to availability. If a cancellation is eligible for a refund, then the concerned airline will issue a credit in the name of the passenger. Such credit will have to be used within a certain period of time by the same passenger and with the same carrier. While making use of the credit, if there are any fare changes, then the excess amount will have to be borne by the passenger. CANCEL FOR REFUND
The concept of refund is valid if and only if the following three conditions are satisfied. 1. Traveler has applied for a cancellation with refund and there is a provision for the same by the airline. 2. Traveler should have applied for the cancellation prior to the departure date and time. 3. Waivers are obtained by the website from the airline to process the cancellation and facilitate a refund. All refund request will be processed in a first come first serve basis and cannot be processed within a stipulated time frame. Prioritization of queries will not be entertained. Every user who applies for a refund will receive an acknowledgement notification and receiving it does not imply that they will be guaranteed a refund. The refund amount that you receive is arrived after due consultations with the respective airline and will be directly credited to the credit/debit card that was used for the initial ticket purchase.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION
By accepting to the terms of this Agreement, the user hereby authorizes the website and its representatives to carry out an air ticket purchase transaction on behalf of the user. In doing so, they may make use of the credit/debit card details of the customer. The fare displayed on our website is inclusive of all applicable taxes and that will be the amount that is charged on the customer’s card. Keeping the user’s safety and security in mind and to prevent any fraudulent transactions we do a cross verification with your bank. The details that we check include name, card details, contact number, billing address, e-mail address and other relevant details. When you are making a reservation or booking a ticket for someone else, make sure that they are aware of this Agreement. Only you will be liable for making such reservations for third parties. While doing so and at other times make sure to only give information that is accurate and current failing which the necessary legal action will be taken.
BAGGAGE POLICY AND FEES
Baggage fee is not a part of the airfare unless mentioned explicitly. Some airlines allow extra baggage whereas others may not allow such excess luggage. If your airline does allow some extra baggage, then you may be asked to pay an additional $15 to $200 depending on the size and weight of your baggage. These charges will have to be paid directly to the airline and we do not have any say in this matter.
CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION
All details provided for a ticket purchase including personal and transactional details are verified with a third party database. This is done in order to maintain the integrity of our services. In situations where we cannot complete the verification with a third party, we are forced to complete the verification process with the bank that has issued the credit/debit card. The intention of this entire process is to ensure your safety and it will no way be a credit check affecting your credit rating.This information will also be shared with a Credit Reference Agency, which may store your details either in part or whole. Certain users who are unable to provide correct details may be requested to take a photocopy of the credit/debit card and share it with our representatives. Be assured that no information provided by you will be misused. The only instance where we may share you details is during some legal action being taken against you.
PASSPORTS/VISAS/GOVT. ISSUED PHOTO ID/HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Consult with the consulate of the country of visit regarding the entry requirements for your nationality. The restrictions may be with regard to your passport, visa or health. Certain countries require that you present with necessary health documents before entering their country. Most rules do not apply for a transit inside an airport and they come into effect only if you are going to be entering the country. Similarly get yourself mentally and physically prepared to adapt to the new conditions found in other countries. All passengers are requested to carry their passports during an international travel and also carry a government approved ID. This may be required in places such as hotels or in security checks of other nations. Gaining a passport and a visa are time consuming processes so get them ready well in advance. If you are either detained by a foreign country, deported or denied boarding then you are not eligible to request for a refund.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR UNITED STATES
New laws effective from January 23rd, 2007 have been laid by the Homeland Security Department of the United States to govern the entry of people by air into the United States. It is mandatory for all American and Canadian citizens to carry their passports during an international travel failing which they may be detained in other countries. Additionally, you have to ensure that your passport has a validity greater than 6 months from the return date of your journey. This is done to reduce delays in the US Immigration.
If any dispute arises between the customer and Fetchcheapflights website, then kindly contact our office at (toll-free number) or e-mail us at (e-mail ID) to resolve the dispute in a fair, quick and cost-effective manner. Otherwise, the website will resolve any claim, controversy or dispute arising from the use of the site, the site’s terms and conditions, or the breach, interpretation, termination, enforcement or validity thereof, or the relationship between the customer and the website, in accordance with the subsections below or as otherwise mutually agreed by both the parties in writing.
SUBMISSION TO JURISDICTION; GOVERNING LAW
The above mentioned terms and conditions and the rights of the parties hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, exclusive of conflict of choice of law rules. The customer agrees that any claims shall be brought into a court located in Hillsborough County, Florida, United states of America. All claims must be brought to court within two (2) years from the date on which such claim arose or accrued, unless otherwise prohibited by the applicable law.
FILING CLAIMS IN AN IMPROPER MANNER
The Claims brought against the website must be resolved in accordance with the “Dispute Resolution” section. All Claims that do not conform to this section shall be considered improperly filed and void. If the customer’s Claim is not in accordance with this section, then the website may recover from the customer the attorney fees on behalf of the website and costs up to $10,000, provided that the website will notify the customer in writing that the Claim was improperly filed, and the customer should promptly withdraw the Claim.
